Daily Chew is a cafe and catering company creating simple, seasonal, and nourishing culinary experiences.
Whether you're enjoying a morning coffee and brekkie at the cafe, or we are catering your next special occasion in your home or in our event space, you can expect the fine dining quality of food and service in a relaxed, laid back, homey environment - without the frills and fluff.
We are a boot-strapped, women owned and operated, small business.
Daily Chew was born out of Julia's first brand, Stop Think Chew, which lives on as our prepared foods and provisions. We work directly with farmers and artisans across Georgia to bring delicious meals and experiences to your table, while supporting the community + the planet.

Julia Kesler Imerman, Owner
Born Jewish in South Africa and raised in Atlanta, Julia’s roots are the inspiration behind the menu. Julia grew up cooking with her Grandmother and Dad and those flavors are a continuous theme—along with an emphasis on Georgia grown ingredients. Julia’s Grandmother, Annette Kesler, is her culinary influence. She wrote her own cookbooks, and was a food writer + editor in Cape Town South
Africa for 31 years. Her influence continues to inspire Julia daily.
Daily Chew is the physical manifestation of all of her passions and experience in one space. The space is intended to build community around nourishing food that supports your body and the planet.
When not at Daily Chew, you can find Julia, her husband, Nick, and her son Leo walking in Piedmont Park or eating on Buford Hwy.

Layla Walk, Director of Operations
Layla Walk is Director of Operations and Partner oDaily Chew.
In 2022, Layla became partner as she has worked tirelessly to build systems and structure in this evolving business.
After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, she worked around the world from New York to Australia. Since landing back in Atlanta, she has opened restaurants across the city- including No.246, King + Duke, The Optimist, Abbatoir, Freds and Yalla, Muchacho and more. When she is not with the Chew Crew, Layla is operating her strategic hospitality consulting company and ramping up to launch a beverage company, both with her partner Cole Just.

Galdino Peleaz, Head Chef
After 5 Years with the Chew Crew, he is now Daily Chew's Head Chef.
With 20+ years experience in Atlanta's finest restaurants and teaching some of the top Chefs, he now runs our kitchen with precision and creating beautifully delicious dishes and bountiful catering.
When not with the Chew Crew, Galdino is with his kids playing and watching soccer.

Jeonghun Lee, General Manager
Jeoghun is a dedicated coffee professional with four years of experience in the industry.
He is passionate about crafting the perfect diner coffee and specialty drinks that consistently delight customers. He is also committed to training new baristas, emphasizing bar flow and efficiency to ensure a seamless operation.
